The Solar Farm will create jobs, diversify income, and increase revenue to ancillary services such as food, lodging and tourism for the local area.
Estimated job numbers are approximately 300 - 350 full time equivalent (FTE) construction jobs and 8-12 FTE operational roles.
The Solar Farm will produce approximately 613,600 MWh in year 1, enough to power at least 115,000 homes and offset approximately 402,000 tonnes of CO2e pa.
The Proposal will significantly contribute towards the NSW Government’s aim of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050, by supplying clean renewable energy into the grid.
